Frequently Asked Questions

How much track time is included?

An experience day will run from 10 am till 4 pm (depending on daylight). We try to book experience days on quiet days to ensure the maximum amount of track time. We usually hope for an open pit lane so you can go out on the track as and when you please. Alternatively, we may run track sessions where you usually get a 20 to 30-minute run every hour.

Are track fees included?

Track fees range from £40-£60, depending on the track and time of year.

Can we go to a different track?

We can go to any track location, subject to availability and suitability. However, we recommend going to Hooton Park or Whilton Mill.

What days/dates are available?

The team conducts tests most weeks (subject to our racing schedule). We mainly host experience days at Hooton Park or Whilton Mill.

What should I wear?

You are required to wear a full race suit, helmet, and gloves. Boots, a rib protector, and a neck brace are also recommended. We can provide a suit and helmet if needed.

Can multiple drivers share and split the cost?

No, unfortunately, the karts are not adjustable. Each kart is set up for the driver in terms of seat size, location, and pedal positioning to maximize the driver’s track time. This is all done in advance of the test day.

What if I crash? Who pays?

We operate on a “you break it, you fix it” policy. If crash damage occurs, you will be invoiced for the replacement parts. Alternatively, you can purchase parts/crash insurance for £75.

What if it’s raining?

We will provide you with wet tires, and the kart can be set up to drive in the rain.

Can I reschedule?

If you give us more than two weeks’ notice before your experience day, we can reschedule it at no cost.

Can I use my own kart?

For the experience days, we provide all the kit and equipment needed for those who do not own a kart. However, if you have your own kart and are just looking for a little bit of support, our team can help with that too.
